How far in advance should I book my photo session?

As for everything in life also here appears the same: the earlier you book the better it is. Usually it is possible to fit in a portrait or family session somewhere. Wedding dates are limited as I usually only do one wedding per weekend. So I suggest contacting me as soon as possible to book your wedding photgrapher.

Would you take our engagement photos?

Yes, of course - I'd love to! Engagement phots are already included in some of the wedding packages. Please ask!

How long will it take to receive my digital photos?

My turnaround time for regular photo sessions is anywhere between 1-3 weeks, sometimes even sooner. For weddings it's anywhere from 4-6 weeks. But I try to send you the first few edited photos on the same weekend you married - that you can at least show your friends and family something straight away.

Where do photo sessions take place? Do you have a studio?

There is a variety of locations I use around Jauntal and Rosental in Carinthia, Austria (about 25 min. from Klagenfurt) - depending on what kind of backdrop you are looking for. Where our photo session takes place will mainly be determined by the seasons. This means one locations looks very nice in spring, but is boring in the summer and winter. If you have a particular location in mind please let me know about it. We can always discuss together where to take your photos based on the results you want to have. I don't have a studio - but I like doing "home stories". If your house or apartment doesn't fit, we can still rent a beautiful hotel room somewhere.

What should I wear to our photo session?

If we take family or couple photographs just stick to solid neutral colours within the same colour palette. It's very nice to wear ivory, grey, brown, pastell colours - and combine it for example with jeans. Please try to avoid black as well as any graphics on colours. Be aware that stripes and other patterns might contrast each other. It is better not to have everyone wearing exact the same, matching colours ("partner look") but wear colours that complement each other. Tell your boys to leave their baseball-caps at home as they cause shadows in their handsome faces - which we'd love to see. If you're not sure what to wear - don't hesitate to ask.

Do I need a MakeUp-artist or a hairdresser?
Depending on what we shoot you might want to treat yourself with booking a MakeUp artist and/or a hairdresser. I can organize you one that comes directly to our location (at your own cost) - just let me know what you'd like to get.

I'm absolutely not photogenic - what to do?

To believe such nonsense happens in the best families ;-) Just joking... Every person has its own charisma and I'd love to capture yours! I will do my best to change your believes!

Will my photos have your logo on them?

For copyright reasons all the files for the internet will have my logo placed on them. On the USB-stick, DVD or in your online galllery you can find high resolution files with no logo on them - ready to send off for printing. I always recommend using a professional printer for your photos so that you will receive the best colours and quality for your pictures.

What happens if its raining?

There is always the possibility of rain on the day of your photo session. Depending on what we're planning to shoot and which location we planned to go to we might still shoot. Rain doesn't necessarily ruin photos in general. You can still get amazing results from a couple shoot when it's raining. They might look different than when sun was shining - but you might love them anyway. If you definitely don't like to have a photo session while it's raining - we will reschedule our appointment for a day in the future that fits both of our schedules. Sometimes I have had to reschedule up to 3 times, but it always works out in the end! So don't worry - we'll make it happen! :)

May I buy a Voucher?

Yes, of course! I have nicely designed vouchers for sale which make a lovely surprise present!

Do you travel for photo sessions?
I really love to travel and explore new places! Photo sessions on special locations mean lot of fun to me. Usually the first 25 travel km are included in the package. If I have to travel further I charge the standard mileage of EUR 0,42 per km.

There are a few places I would love to visit anyway and for those locations I have discounted packages available to photograph your wedding or engagement session for travel costs only. I would love to work with you wherever you want to tie the knot.

Wie lange im Voraus soll ich einen Fotoshoot buchen?

Wie für alles im Leben gilt: je früher du buchst, desto besser. In der Regel ist es möglich, einen Portrait- oder Familienshoot irgendwo dazwischen unterzubringen. Termine für Hochzeiten sind limitiert - weil ich nur eine Hochzeit pro Wochenende abdecke. Solltet Ihr Interesse an Hochzeitsfotos haben, meldet Euch bitte bald.

Machst du auch Verlobungsfotos?

Liebend gerne mache ich Eure Verlobungsfotos. In einigen Hochzeitspaketen sind diese schon im Preis inkludiert.

Wie lange Dauert es, bis ich die digitalen Fotos erhalte?

Für die Bildbearbeitung regulärer Fotoshoots brauche ich 1-2 Wochen, manchmal bin ich auch schneller. Bei Hochzeiten erstreckt sich der Zeitraum der Bildbearbeitung auf 4-6 Wochen. Ich bemühe mich, Euch die ersten bearbeitete Fotos noch am selben Wochenende zu liefern, sodass Ihr schon was zeigen könnt.

Wo machen wir die Fotos? Hast du ein Studio?

Ich kenne viele schöne Locations rings um das Rosen- und Jauntal in Kärnten, Österreich (ca. 25 min. von Klagenfurt entfernt). Wir wählen die Location abhängig davon, was wir shooten. Jahreszeiten können aber auch ein Faktor sein: manche Locations sind im Frühling unheimlich toll, im Sommer und Winter aber nichtssagend. Wenn Ihr Euch eine bestimmte Location wünscht, komme ich gerne dorthin - am besten wir besprechen das vorab. Und nein, ich habe kein Studio, aber ich mache gerne "Homestories". Wenn sich Euer Haus bzw. Eure Wohnung dafür nicht eignet, dann können wir noch immer irgendwo ein schönes Hotelzimmer mieten.

Was ziehe ich an?

Bei Familien- oder Pärchenfotos empfehle ich, sich an neutrale Farben einer Farbpalette zu halten. Cremeweiß, beige, grau, braun oder Pastelltöne lassen sich beispielsweise gut mit Jeans kombinieren. Bitte versucht, die Farbe schwarz sowie große, bunte Aufdrucke zu vermeiden. Streifen und andere auffällige Muster harmonieren meist nicht miteinander. Der klassische "Partnerlook" sollte auch eher vermieden werden. Und nocht was: Sagt Euren Jungs, sie sollen die Schildkappen daheim lassen - sie werfen Schatten in ihre Gesichter. Wenn Ihr Euch nicht sicher seid, was Ihr anziehen sollt, fragt mich einfach!

Brauche ich eine Visagistin oder eine Friseurin?
Das hängt ganz davon ab, was wir shooten. Manche wollen sich diesen "Luxus" einfach gönnen und fühlen sich so wohler vor der Linse. Gerne organisiere einen MakeUpArtist/Friseur für Euch, der direkt zur Location kommt (gegen Kostenübernahme).

Ich halte mich für total unfotogen - was tun?

So etwas zu glauben, kommt in den besten Familien vor ;-) Spaß beiseite: Jeder Mensch hat seine ihm ganz eigene Ausstrahlung - und ich liebe es, diese einzufangen. Ich werde mein Bestes geben, um dich vom Gegenteil zu überzeugen!

Ist dein Logo auf den Fotos?

Aus Gründen des Urheberrechts ist mein Logo auf jenen Fotos, die Ihr im Internet verwendet. In der Dropbox bzw. auf der DVD, dem USB-Stick findet Ihr aber alle Fotos auch ohne Logo - fertig zum Drucken. Ich empfehle immer, die Fotos im Fachgeschäft entwickeln zu lassen, damit die Farben und die Qaulität Eurer Fotos richtig zur Geltung kommen.

Was passiert, wenn es regnet?

Es kann immer wieder vorkommen, dass es am Tag unseres Fotoshoots regnet. Regen ist aber nicht zwingend ein Grund, einen Fotoshoot zu verschieben - das hängt ganz davon ab, was wir genau shooten wollen. Fotos im Regen sehen definitiv anders aus als jene im Sonnenschein - aber nicht zwingend schlechter :-) Gerne können wir aber schon vorab besprechen, wie wir Regenwetter handhaben. Wenn Regenfotos definitiv nicht in Frage kommen, verschieben wir den Termin einfach und hoffen auf besseres Wetter :-) Eines ist sicher: Ihr bekommt Eure Fotos!

Stellst du auch Gutscheine aus?

Ja, klar - gerne stelle ich auch einen schön gestalteten Gutschein aus, den Ihr verschenken könnt.

Reist du auch für Aufträge?

Ich liebe es zu verreisen und neue Plätze zu entdecken. An besonderen Locations zu fotografieren, bereitet mir definitiv große Freude. 25 Anfahrtskilometer sind in den meisten Angeboten inkludiert, ab dem 26. gefahrenen Kilometer verrechne ich eine Kilometerpauschale von EUR 0,42 pro km.

Es gibt übrigens ein paar Orte, die ich gerne entdecken würde und für die ich ermäßigte Pakete für Hochzeitsreportagen oder Verlobungsshoots anbiete - teilweise auch nur für den Ersatz meiner Reisekosten.
